As a non-commercial event, the Salon Culinaire Mondial enjoys an excellent reputation in the sector worldwide. Participants from more than 30 countries will be cooking for awards in the categories of Culinary World Masters und Culinary Art Show. The Salon Culinaire Mondial is an international culinary art competition which is aimed at measuring the spe- cialist skills and performance of culinary art teams and individual culinary art exhibitors. It similarly allows broad sectors of the public to experience the developments and progress in culinary art at first hand, provides people with ideas and encourages next-generation chefs. In assessing the individual food items, the international jury attaches great importance to careful, balanced and varied preparation as well as to the presentation of the dishes. In addition, the cost-efficiency of the overall out- lay involved is evaluated in relation to the final result.
